2021 - Painting for 18 Musicians

Painting for 18 Musicians was inspired by a live performance of Steve Reich’s Music for 18 Musicians (1974–76) at the Southbank Centre in London in 2021. Drawing on this seminal minimalist and phasing work, Lorna explores how colour can express sound, visualising musical time, movement, and rhythm, and creating abstract spaces that invite reflection and spiritual thought.
